PES 2017 Looks A Lot Polished and Eventfull Over PES 2016

If you are a PES player, you will find that the goalkeepers in PES 2017 have improved a lot. Colin Campbell from Polygon.com played as Arsenal against a skilled human opponent during E3. There were three different occasions when Petr Cech of Arsenal saved his skin against an onslaught from Fernando Torres.

During one event, the ball received a late deflection from a defender’s knee. Cech made a brilliant save by sticking out his hand. This is something that you would expect from one of the best goalkeepers in the world. During the E3 presentation, a Konami representative showed a graph comparing the average review scores of EA Sports’ FIFA series in addition to Konami’s PES series.

Last year, PES 2016 received better reviews than its FIFA counterpart for the first time. PES doesn’t have FIFA’s depth of licenses and at the same time, it releases a lot of backdated data. Konami promised that the new game would release during fall, and it won’t include any repeats. There were four teams involved in this year’s demo.

They are Atletico Madrid, France, Germany and Arsenal. According to the choices, players will again play with real Champions League along with some international teams, including a few others as well. There were generic sides filling in for various unlicensed clubs. This is not an issue for some people, especially those gamers who prefer PES mechanics.

However, it is clear that the absence of a real team hurts this excellent soccer simulation. Konami arrived in E3 with a lot of buzzwords regarding its new game. It is built on Fox Engine. This year, Control Reality is their marketing phrase. This means that the game includes a host of fixes and tweaks that will favor the faithful fans of PES.

Moreover, the first touch has been reworked which allows players to create more space away from the opponents. At the same time, they don’t have to rely entirely on strength or speed. The precision passes have a nice weighty feel as well.

Konami made a lot of improvements regarding how stadiums and players look along with highly-detailed light effects. A Konami spokesperson revealed that every year, they come to know a lot about the engine.

However, such improvements are more revolutionary than iterative. One can manage team tactics on the fly, with pressing, defensive, all-out-attack and short passing. The game includes a rapid movement style called tiki-taka as well.

You can find it all on the menu. According to Konami, AI opponents are more adaptive as well. Referees are more alert towards late tackles and rough play. The stats systems have received a lot of changes, including extra tactical info on the play-styles of opponents.

With the new transfer system, you gain more access to the highest desired players during the Build-Your-Own-Team mode in MyClub. The Transfer Deadline Day has been slowed down as well. Players now have a better chance of bagging their favorites.

Managers in the real world would love this approach. The game will release on Windows PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Konami sent out a press release on Tuesday, revealing the release dates of PES 2017, for various regions and consoles. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will cost $59.99. The PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will cost 39.99 dollars.

North America will witness the launch of this game on 13th September and in the United Kingdom on 15th September. We have no idea when this game will release in South America and other parts of the world.

However, 13th September is a pretty busy day when it comes to game releases. F1 2016 is releasing on 19th August, followed by Madden NFL Football on 23rd August. On 30th August, Asseto Corsa will release. Nascar Heat Revolution will release on 13th September along with NHL 2016.

FIFA 16 releases on 27th September and this means that PES 2017 will enjoy a two-week jump before FIFA’s release. PES gained a lot of popularity over FIFA in the past two years. People who are hungry for a football simulation title will enjoy this early release for PES 2017.

In the meantime, Konami released a lot of information about its upcoming title. In MyClub, Scouts are more readily available so that you can find the player you need with the help of the Auction House.

In the auction house, players can also bid for scouts. PES 2017 also has a brand new player analysis tool through which you can discover where your players are most effective or weakest. At the same time, you will grasp various tactical changes that can be made to the MyClub lineup.

Both PES 2016 and 2015 won Gamescom Game of the Year awards due to which the anticipation is pretty high for PES 2017.

Stay tuned for more updates on PES 2017! And have a look on PES 2017 Playable Demo
