PES 2017 Initial Mode and Myclub Campaign Details Anounced

Diaries at the ready PES Fanners, because the PES 2017 release date has just officially been announced… along with some initial tidbits regarding the modes and myClub campaigns that will appear in the game.

First things first… PES 2017 will be released in North and South America on Tuesday September 13 and will arrive elsewhere on Thursday September 15.  That means you have just under 10 weeks to wait until you can get your hands on it!

The game will be released in both territories for Windows PC, Sony PlayStation 4, Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox One and Microsoft Xbox 360.

Although no official announcement has been made on the matter at this point, if PES 2017 shares the same online system as PES 2016 then the EU and American versions would use different servers. This would mean that any European players purchasing the American version to take advantage of the early release date would not be able to play against those with European copies.

Alongside the release date, KONAMI also revealed some initial details about the modes and options on the game including further confirmation that the popular myClub, Master League and Become a Legend modes will be returning.

Also stated for inclusion were offline competitions for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and AFC Champions League as well as Online competitions whilst a Replay Gallery has been added, which will presumably work in conjunction with the improved replay system PES 2017 will boast. Specification information for each version has also been added to the site.

Finally, a couple of myClub campaigns have been announced to help players build their teams during the early weeks of the game’s release.

All players who complete the myClub tutorial (which has been revamped for PES 2017) will be receive a myClub Starter Kit containing an, as of yet unnamed, Special Agent as well as four Start Up Agents (one for each of the GK, DF, MF and FW positions) and 10,000 GP for 10 weeks.

In addition to this, those that complete the myClub tutorial before September 28 will receive a Early Bird Campaign Special which includes another Special Agent and a player from the UEFA.com Team of the Year.

A further bonus is also available for those who pre-order the digital edition of PES 2017. This contains a UEFA.com Team of the Year player, a further 3 un-named Special Agents, 4 Start Up agents (one for each of the GK, DF, MF and FW positions), a theme, and 10,000 GOP x 10 weeks.

Although the site doesn’t specifically say, one would presume that the digital bonus would be in addition to the Early Bird and myClub Starter Kit bonuses listed above, we will look to confirm this is the case in due course.

No information on how the digital version of PES 2017 can be pre-ordered at this point, although KONAMI have stated that details will follow in due course. Likewise, no indication was given as to when users could expect to see a demo of the game being released.
