PES 6 Editor Deluxe V 2.2.0

CREDITS: Lon Barron

what is new:

Auto-adjust salaries.

Can be done per player or for your entire database. Your patch sucks in ML because it has random salaries? Well, now you can fix that with one button press. Only affects Salary grade (based on OVR); other salary components that add a little flair such as fame and growth curve still have to be set manually

Other changes and additions:

Added: Toggle for small back numbers in Teams tab. Can be individually toggled for GA, PA, GB, PB. Information gets synced to DB (55.bin) when using that method in the "Tools" tab

Added: Expanded "Edit Formation" screen to include ALL original Komani formations including the "L", "R" and "T" variants (the ones you set with R1 to turn 2 CFs into SS+CF etc.). This one was more work than I ever care to admit.

Added "Auto set piece takers" allocation button to Edit Formation screen using the original Konami logic to assign free kick, corner and penalty takers. This one was even worse. But now it works perfectly.

Callname lists edited outside the editor are now picked up. If you have a hand-edited unknow_00485.bin (or 486, 491…) in kitserver's 0_text.afs folder, the editor reads it instead of the stock list. It used to find that folder only if you had been through the Balls tab or dropped an emblem. it now finds it from the GDB or from the executable. The status line says where the list came from, and why, if it fell back to the archive.

Renaming a callname now writes it into the game's own list, so it shows in the in-game commentary-name menu

New: adding a callname. Tick Show unnamed recordings to see the 991 recordings between 8156 and 11953 that Konami never named. Double-click one, give it a name, and it goes into the list in its alphabetical place and will be selectable in game like any other. Typing a number in Find searches by recording number.

Writes go to all six Latin language slots plus the spare, so it doesn't matter which language you play.

Safety first. All changes are logged to callnames-XXX.txt, including what Konami originally called it.

Fixed: a long status message on the Callnames tab could put scrollbars on every tab

Player Edit window:

In the extras box you can now see the original Konami player you have overwritten and the ML salary. You can also edit the ML salary.

Since there is, in typical Konami fashion, a third mysterious variable, the salary can deviate up to ~10%, but it's good enough for balancing your ML salaries.

Team Tab:

Added Emblems, just drop them here and they get added to the 535 and 536 in 0_text.

Added exe editing to set team name, abbreviation, team nationality and the chant link. No support for chantserver module YET.

Rest as usual: Can also open a GDB kit manager, manage your banners and supporter colors and the stadium (drag & drop a folder to add new stadium).

Players Tab:

Newly added. A suggestion by @porcha that made a lot of sense and now helps me personally.

This lets you you browse all your players and see if they have kitserver assets. Players with at least a face and boots are highlighted in green.

Also lets you edit the things that have an impact on the player's appearance, even with kitserver.

Emblem Tab:

Removed the old Logo and Emblem tabs (I respect anyone who still draws their logos ingame pixel per pixel, while using a controller... but I think you are in a minority in 2026.).

Added new "Emblem" tab

Stadium Tab:

This one is for the lover of vanilla Konami stadiums. I know, there are dozens of us.

Let's you quickly edit the OF name of the stadiums, but also the more serious stuff: Hardcoded .exe information (Name, capacity, built year), replace and resize the preview pictures. And exposes if you're a dummy like me who always forgot to edit the second .txs file Konami has hidden in e_text

GDB Stadium Manager:

This can be accessed at the bottom of the stadium tab and is a conversion of my personal Python tool I use to quickly assign stadiums to teams to kitserver's map.txt AND to manage the textures. I have a turf fetish, so I quickly want to replace every stadium's turf with 1-6 clicks without editing GGS 6 times. Also let's me quickly replace stripes, corner flags and goal nets. And in theory every other texture

League tab:

Leagues in PES 6 are complicated as their names are hidden in the Option File (with some toggle bytes that tell the game whether to use that OF name or not), in 2 str. files in e_text.afs AND in the .exe file. We don't touch the exe here, because it's really not necessary and as far as I can see, no editor ever has.

Mass Edit tab:

Most requested feature, at least 3 people here wanted it: You can now mass edit appearance parameters such as body type, leg length or untucked shirts

OF2 to OF1 tab:

Let's you copy single players, entire teams and/or formation settings from OF2 to OF1.

Sounds as simple as it is. Suggestion by @GTAZAZO97

DB Stats tab:

This one is for the stats nerds. Or if you want to work on the overall balance of your database.

.exe tab:

Those .exe options that had tools and where I could replicate a byte-perfect 100% result are included here.

Hidden Players:

The mythical "hidden players" of the Challenge Mode teams.
