Gameplay updates
minor revision is applied. The gameplay of Football Life remains similar to PES, using the same logic and functions, but it focuses more on the simulation aspect of the game, it is designed to be challenging, reasonably slower, and more tactically demanding, punishing haste and rewarding patience. Multiple changes are made to the standard PES gameplay in all aspects, muting automation and emphasizing teamplay, weather and turf condition effects on the ball and players are augmented, the freekick gauge speed is changed from linear to variant (the gauge charges faster the closer the free kick is). There are many other minor differences.
conventional PES gameplay can be applied using SP switcher.exe (located inside the game folder)
Game maintenance
various game assets are updated and tweaked, the update assumes the default game is installed, we are happy that the community is using Football Life as a platform for mods, however adding external mods is at the user’s own risk, please note that altering the exe or the database can result in bugs in career mode, all tests are performed on default game and SP addons.

This Lua user module overrides the game's internal "dynamic difficulty" values (scripts).
By setting the game's difficulty values to neutral (0) at the start of each match, you prevent the CPU from receiving artificial boosts at the end of the game, or "god mode."
Why it works:
Neutralizes the handicap: By setting home_dynamic_difficulty and away_dynamic_difficulty to 0, the "random numerical values" (0-5) that the game usually assigns to trigger difficulty fluctuations are removed.
Static difficulty: The CPU will play exactly according to the team's rating and the selected difficulty level, without "god mode" in the middle of the match. Goals scored: Eliminating these bonuses ensures that goals at the end of the game are the result of tactical errors or exhaustion and not an artificial "rubber band effect."

Automatic Patch/Game Detection: No more separate files for different game versions! This module automatically detects which patch/game you're using (vanilla PES 2021, PES 2020, Football Life (FL24,25,26), etc.)
Advanced Assignment Hierarchy:You can assign goal nets with a clear priority system:
Stadium-Specific (you can make goalnets for every stadium): The highest priority. A goalnets_preset.txt file in a stadium's folder will always override other settings.
Competition-Specific: Assign different nets for specific tournaments or even specific stages of a tournament (like group stage, 1/4,1/2 or finals).
Team-Specific: Assign a default home goalnet for any team.
Multiple Presets & In-Game Selection: Assign a list of several goalnet presets to any team, competition, or stadium. The first one in the list will be the default, and you can cycle through the others in-game.
Live Sider Overlay: The overlay provides real-time information about the currently active net preset, its source (Stadium, Competition, or Team), and allows you to switch between available options using the PageUp and PageDown keys.
Manual Goalnet Tension: Optionally override only the net “tightness” (like in FIFA games) in real time via the Sider overlay, but use it carefully because it can make nets bounce unrealistically and some clubs already have very tight presets so “Tight” may have little to no effect.

Each stadium pack is adapted and updated mostly thanks to Kelechi N. and jusseppe. Mapped in the right way so that they can install just by copying and pasting. No fuss. Each stadium pack includes the Map_Teams file where the necessary data for its operation is seen, such as:

Each stadium pack is compressed to the maximum so that it does not take long to download.
Stadiums only work with the Windows version PES2021PC of the game. Compatible with sider tool and stadium server module. In case you use a standalone patch such as FL26, VirtuaRed among others, this stadium pack is compatible and you can adapt it without problems.
FL26 INSTALLATION
-Open the . Rary of the stadiums and select all or choose the ones they want to use.
-Drag and drop into the "stadiums" folder:

Football Life 26 SMoKE Patch 2025-26 V1.00 & V1.1 Update
SP football life is our attempt to update and continue the offline career modes found in the beloved and retired PES series, FL26 is updated for the new season 2025/2026.
this version have a lot of small updates and enhancements and fixes that all add up to a fresh feel of the game, graphics and sound effects, ball physics and gameplay all received updates and upgrades along with enhancements in the core game and launcher.

Teams and players
FL26 is updated for season 2025/26, promoted teams has replaced the relegated ones and a new teams selection is included.

the edit mode is fully functional, there are three fully editable teams in the game for user creation (Ceres Negros, Zalgiris Vilnius, Zamora FC), the database is unlocked for the community, however changing bin files might result in serious errors, and will clash with future database updates.
Game updates:
we perform periodic scans of the database for squads and attributes changes and import new players from konami live database, the game will receive frequent updates depending on the urgency and progress, updates also includes more updated graphics that would be ready by then and any small corrections or enhancements discovered while playing.
the game will show update notification if available upon launching the game.
national squads are updated but still pending the official world cup team list in November.
Future new season upgrades:
this version is built with future seasons upgrade in mind, this will allow to have a full version and an upgrade version in the future.

FL26 includes the all new English commentary v8, it includes new call names for many players and new commentary dialogues, for other v8 languages see the commentary addon
- Real Faces
the players/staff faces are available as a separate addon due to the large size, it is highly recommended to download and install the new facepack 26-27 as it would add a lot of immersion to the game.
the new facepack is tailor made for FL26 and will receive future updates throughout 2026 and 2027.
